WINTER ELK

WinterElk Valencia is the Lead Pastor of the Salt River Assembly of God Church. Raised on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale, AZ, WinterElk is the O’odham-Ute-Yaqui son of Jann Ray and the late Johnny Valencia. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Church Ministries from Nelson University (formerly SAGU) and further studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts.

He has built a career in social work and behavioral health, specializing in case management, family support, and advocacy for children and families across community and clinical settings. He currently serves as Manager in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Social Services department, providing leadership for programs that promote family stability and self-sufficiency.

He is married to Jayne, his college sweetheart, and together they have five children. His passion is strengthening the well-being of tribal members through pastoral leadership, education, opportunity, and development.

JEREMY BREWINGTON

Rev. Jeremy Brewington is the Senior Pastor of Freedom Assembly and an ordained minister through the Assemblies of God. He has faithfully served in pastoral ministry for the past 15 years, dedicating his life to preaching the Gospel, teaching God's word and leading others into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. 

Pastor Jeremy has been married to his wife, Annette for the past 25 years and together they've been blessed with four children and nine, going on ten, grandchildren. As a family, they have been committed to serving the Lord and sharing His love through their lives and ministry.

Pastor Jeremy is proud of his Native American heritage, with Coharie roots through his father and Lumbee roots through his mother. His faith, family, and heritage have shaped his heart for ministry and his desire to serve others with humility, love, compassion, and biblical truth.

Dr. Rod Loy pastors First Assembly of God in North Little Rock Arkansas.  Under his leadership, the church has helped plant more than 1350 churches in 63 nations.
